Experience the Bliss of Inner Communion with the Omnipresent Christ Consciousness on Saturday, December 3rd Christmas Meditation
from 9:30 AM to 4 PM

at the Ananda Yoga and Meditation – York Cottage Place Unit F, Suite 208, 433 US Route 1, York, Maine 03909

Paramhansa Yogananda began a tradition of a long meditation prior to Christmas to honor Christ and to prepare for the coming of Christ consciousness in each of us. Don’t be intimidated by the length. Even for beginners, it’s not difficult. Group energy plus chanting, music, and inspirational talks by Yogananda and Kriyananda carry you along.

We begin promptly at 9:30 AM.

We are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to meditate together Saturday, December 3rd. A schedule of our day is below. We ask that you please observe the following:
• Please do not wear any perfumes or colognes as a few people are very sensitive and get migraines or sneezing attacks.
• Keep cell phones out of the room or turned off.
• Do not enter during periods of meditation. You may wait in the hallway for a chanting break.
• Enter and leave as quietly as you can.
• Remove noisy jackets and cough drop or candy wrappers before entering.

Please arrive on time to participate in energization exercises and to be in place for meditation. Chairs are provided or bring your own meditation gear for floor sitting including a shawl or sweater. Bring malas, aum boards, and earplugs if you use them.

There will be tea and water available during the breaks. Please bring your own snacks. Please arrive early as we expect a full house. The vibration builds throughout the day, so please stay as long as you can. May God and Gurus bless your meditation deeply.

“Christ is only suggested in social Christmas festivities,
but He is seen and felt as an everlasting, ever-joyous fact in the cradle of divine ecstasy. Make the unknown Christ known within yourself by seeing Him born a second time as the ever-new, ever increasing joy of your daily deep meditation.”
Paramhansa Yogananda

“I and my Father are One”
Jesus Christ

“When Jesus said in the Bible, ‘I and my Father are One,’ He was declaring that He had united His soul with the Infinite Spirit. His words spoken in truth, were meant as a challenge and an inspiration to us all to ‘go and do likewise’. He was saying He had accomplished what He had come on earth to help all of us to accomplish: to unite our souls with the endless source of Divine Love.”
Swami Kriyananda
